Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and commercial locations across Long Beach
- Verify delivery accuracy through scanning technology and customer signatures
- Maintain clean, well-functioning delivery vehicle through daily inspections and maintenance checks
- Optimize delivery routes to ensure timely arrival and maximize efficiency
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Handle package discrepancies and customer concerns with professionalism
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record
- Reliable personal vehicle or access to insured transportation
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout shift
- Strong knowledge of Long Beach streets and surrounding areas
- Weekend availability (Saturdays and Sundays, 6 AM - 6 PM)
- Basic smartphone proficiency for route navigation and communication
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills
- Previous delivery or customer service experience preferred
