Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations in a timely and efficient manner.
- Load and unload packages from the delivery truck using hand trucks or dollies, ensuring proper handling of all items.
- Verify delivery addresses and obtain electronic or digital signatures from customers to confirm receipt.
- Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle, including daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions and resolving any delivery issues professionally.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company safety policies, and DOT regulations at all times.
- Complete daily delivery logs and paperwork accurately and on time.
Qualifications
- A valid Class C Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or a clean driving record with at least 2 years of driving experience.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, specifically including Weekend Shifts.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Ability to lift, carry, and push packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the day.
- Basic computer literacy for electronic logging devices and delivery management software.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
