Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A trucks for weekend local and regional routes
- Execute on-time deliveries while maintaining strict safety protocols
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs
- Collaborate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization
- Load/unload cargo using proper equipment and techniques
- Represent Detroit Logistics Solutions with professional customer interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Strong knowledge of Detroit metro roadways and traffic patterns
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- DOT medical certification and required endorsements
- Excellent time management and communication skills
