Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial trucks for local and regional deliveries.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Load and secure cargo using straps, chains, and other equipment.
- Maintain accurate logs and ensure strict adherence to DOT regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding schedules and route adjustments.
- Uphold a clean, professional image and a safety-first mindset at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A License with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable truck driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of New York state traffic laws and regulations.
- Availability to work weekends (Friday-Sunday) on a consistent basis.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing manual tasks.
