Responsibilities
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections in accordance with DOT regulations.
- Safely load and unload freight using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery paperwork.
- Navigate efficiently through the Cleveland area and surrounding regions.
- Ensure the truck cabin and cargo area are kept clean and organized.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (Class A) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable truck driving experience.
- Must be available to work weekends (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday).
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and drug screen.
- Strong understanding of traffic laws and safety protocols.
- Basic computer literacy for logging and reporting.
