Texas Premier Transport is seeking experienced Class A and Class B CDL drivers to join our team for our Weekend Shift in San Antonio, TX. As a Weekend CDL Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our supply chain remains uninterrupted during the critical weekend period. You will be operating modern equipment with excellent fuel efficiency and top-tier maintenance standards.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial motor vehicles on local and regional routes throughout the San Antonio area and surrounding regions.
- Load and unload freight accurately, ensuring cargo security and weight distribution compliance.
- Perform Pre-Trip and Post-Trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure DOT compliance and safety standards are met.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging (E-Logs) and paperwork in compliance with FMCSA regulations.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols to minimize risks and accidents.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery times and any route changes.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or B required.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations within the last 3-5 years.
- DOT Medical Card in possession and valid.
- Willingness and ability to work weekends (Saturday/Sunday or specific weekend blocks).
- Strong knowledge of local San Antonio geography and traffic patterns.
- Physical stamina to lift, pull, and carry cargo weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic computer skills for logging and reporting.
