Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for weekend freight delivery across Portland metro
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic records using ELD systems
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and time-sensitive deliveries
- Provide exceptional customer service during residential/commercial deliveries
- Perform basic preventative maintenance and report vehicle issues promptly
- Support warehouse loading/unloading operations when needed
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and work in various weather conditions
- Proficiency with GPS navigation and electronic logging devices
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
- Pass federal background check and drug screening
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
