Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) in accordance with all traffic laws and company policies.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections (DVIR) to ensure cargo and vehicle safety.
- Load and unload freight efficiently, ensuring proper securement and handling of goods.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery paperwork.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any delays.
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no more than 2 minor moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Current DOT Medical Card and DOT Physical.
- Must be available to work Weekend Shifts (Friday through Sunday or Saturday through Monday).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor.
- Willingness to travel to Florida for regional assignments if required.
