Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for weekend deliveries across Denver metro and surrounding areas
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate DOT compliance documentation
- Load/unload freight with precision, ensuring proper cargo securing and weight distribution
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules while maintaining exceptional customer service standards
- Utilize advanced GPS technology for route optimization and real-time communication
- Report maintenance issues promptly and maintain vehicle cleanliness
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery challenges proactively
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- HAZMAT endorsement preferred (training provided if not certified)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and random drug screening
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation
- Strong knowledge of Denver metro traffic patterns and mountain pass regulations
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in various weather conditions
