Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for weekend deliveries across Northern California
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging system compliance
- Inspect vehicles before/after shifts and report maintenance needs
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and delivery confirmation
- Adhere to all FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Secure cargo properly and ensure load integrity throughout transit
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (3+ years experience)
- Current DOT medical certification and TWIC card preferred
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices and route navigation systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Strong time management skills for strict weekend delivery deadlines
- Pass background check and drug screening requirements
- Familiarity with California highway systems and local routes
- Commitment to weekend availability (Saturday/Sunday shifts)
