Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for weekend deliveries across Arizona
- Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate trip documentation
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety standards
- Load/unload shipments efficiently with proper equipment handling
- Optimize routes for timely weekend deliveries while ensuring cargo integrity
- Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding delays or route changes
- Maintain clean driving record and vehicle maintenance logs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Strong knowledge of Arizona highways and delivery protocols
- Weekend availability (Friday-Sunday) with flexible weekday hours
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Basic familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD)
