Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) for weekend deliveries throughout Omaha and surrounding areas
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate DOT compliance logs
- Load/unload freight securely using proper techniques and equipment
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team regarding route updates and delays
- Maintain clean driving record and report any incidents immediately
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Pass federal background check and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Omaha metro area and Nebraska highways
- Weekend availability (Saturday/Sunday, 6am-6pm shifts)
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
