Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for weekend delivery routes across Georgia
- Load/unload freight with precision while maintaining accurate delivery documentation
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and report vehicle maintenance needs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Optimize route efficiency to meet weekend delivery deadlines
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Maintain clean driving record and compliance with all licensing requirements
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of Atlanta metropolitan area geography
- Flexibility to work Saturday/Sunday shifts (5:00 AM - 5:00 PM)
- DOT medical certification and required endorsements
- Exceptional time management and problem-solving skills
- Pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
