Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently to deliver freight to designated locations in Albuquerque and surrounding areas.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo using proper equipment, ensuring weight distribution and safety.
- Maintain accurate logs and all necessary paperwork, including Bill of Lading and DVIR.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and issues.
Qualifications
- CDL Required: Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License.
- Driving Record: Clean driving record with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Schedule: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Physical: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and pass a DOT physical examination.
