Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks to transport goods safely and efficiently to designated destinations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing loads according to safety standards.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during driving operations.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and records of service.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Current DOT medical card and DOT drug screen clearance.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable truck driving experience.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong knowledge of commercial vehicle operations and safety regulations.
- Physically capable of lifting and maneuvering cargo in loading docks.
