Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial van vehicles to deliver goods to designated locations in and around Wichita, KS.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of packages to prevent damage.
- Verify delivery addresses and obtain signatures upon successful drop-off.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior, adhering to all company cleanliness standards.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients and the public.
- Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record (no major violations).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience driving commercial vans or box trucks.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Physically fit to lift packages up to 50 lbs repeatedly and perform manual labor.
- Strong knowledge of the local Wichita, KS area and surrounding regions.
- Basic computer skills for logging delivery information.
- Reliable transportation to and from the depot.
