Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vans to transport goods and passengers throughout New Orleans metro area
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for all shipments
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Provide exceptional customer service during client interactions
- Adapt routes based on traffic conditions and delivery schedules
- Ensure cargo security and proper handling of sensitive materials
- Comply with all federal, state, and local transportation regulations
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years professional driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and background check
- Proficient in GPS navigation and route optimization
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication abilities in English
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Knowledge of New Orleans area geography preferred
