Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vans to deliver packages and supplies on scheduled routes
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for all shipments
- Load/unload cargo with proper lifting techniques and equipment operation
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Navigate efficiently using GPS systems while adhering to traffic regulations
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery challenges
Qualifications
- Valid Indiana Commercial Driver's License (Class B) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of professional driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Strong knowledge of Indianapolis metro area streets
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Basic computer literacy for delivery tracking systems
