Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vans for timely package and goods delivery across NYC boroughs
- Plan efficient routes using GPS technology to meet tight delivery schedules
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain customer signatures
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques
- Communicate with dispatch team regarding delivery status and route challenges
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Strong knowledge of NYC streets and traffic patterns
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
