Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vans to transport goods to residential and commercial locations.
- Load and unload cargo using hand trucks and pallet jacks, ensuring secure placement.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols during every route.
- Interact professionally with customers to ensure high satisfaction levels.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork in compliance with regulations.
- Manage time efficiently to meet strict delivery schedules.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL Class B) is highly preferred.
- Valid Driver's License (Class C) with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Previous experience in local delivery or logistics is a plus.
- Basic math skills for cash handling or inventory tracking.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or early mornings.
