Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vans and box trucks to deliver goods to residential and commercial customers in the San Antonio area.
- Load and unload merchandise, ensuring all items are handled with care and properly secured.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior, adhering to all company appearance and safety standards.
- Observe all traffic laws and safety regulations to prevent accidents and ensure passenger safety.
- Interact professionally with customers, resolving any delivery issues or concerns with a positive attitude.
- Prepare daily delivery logs and report any vehicle maintenance needs to management immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License (Class C) with a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong navigation skills with the ability to read maps and utilize GPS devices effectively.
- Excellent time management skills and a proven track record of punctuality.
- Basic computer literacy for logging deliveries and handling electronic paperwork.
- Must be able to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.
