Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vans and box trucks to transport cargo to designated destinations.
- Load and unload packages, ensuring all items are handled with care and organized correctly.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety.
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance of the vehicle interior at all times.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Update delivery logs and digital tracking systems accurately.
- Provide excellent customer service during the delivery process.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience in a commercial setting.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong knowledge of Philadelphia streets and local geography is highly preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to navigate traffic delays.
- Flexibility to work early mornings, late evenings, or weekends as required.
- Must possess a clean driving record and pass a background check.
