Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vans for local and regional deliveries within the Omaha metro area.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring all items are secured properly to prevent damage during transit.
- Verify delivery addresses and obtain electronic signatures for all shipments.
- Maintain accurate records of delivery logs, mileage, and vehicle inspections.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Interact professionally with customers, addressing inquiries and resolving delivery issues promptly.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of driving experience in a commercial or delivery capacity.
- Current, clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic knowledge of local Omaha streets and traffic patterns.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
