Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vans for time-sensitive deliveries across Oakland and Bay Area
- Plan optimized routes using GPS technology to meet tight delivery windows
- Handle specialized cargo with precision, including temperature-controlled items
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain customer signatures
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Provide exceptional customer service at every delivery point
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery challenges proactively
Qualifications
- Valid California Class C driver's license with clean MVR (3+ years)
- Minimum 2 years commercial van/delivery driving experience
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and operate loading equipment
- Proficiency with route navigation apps and basic mobile technology
- Strong time management skills and punctuality mindset
- Pass background check and DOT physical examination
- Commercial insurance coverage preferred
