Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vans for local and regional deliveries within San Jose and the greater Bay Area.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently, ensuring proper handling of fragile items and equipment.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, manifests, and delivery receipts.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections, including checking tire pressure, fluid levels, and reporting any maintenance issues.
- Provide exceptional customer service by interacting professionally with clients at drop-off locations.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company safety protocols, and DOT regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid California Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or equivalent commercial driving experience.
- Clean DMV record with no major traffic violations or DUIs in the last 3 years.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to read maps and use GPS navigation systems.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
