Responsibilities
- Operate a commercial van to transport goods to local destinations in and around Tulsa.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo safely, ensuring proper securing of packages to prevent damage.
- Practice defensive driving techniques to maintain a clean driving record and ensure safety.
- Interact professionally with customers, resolving any delivery issues with courtesy and efficiency.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork in accordance with DOT regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is preferred but not required for entry-level candidates.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major traffic violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to meet strict delivery deadlines.
- Basic understanding of navigation tools and route planning software.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
