Responsibilities
- Perform safe and efficient local delivery and pickup operations using company vans.
- Load and unload merchandise accurately, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior at all times, adhering to safety and sanitation standards.
- Observe all traffic laws and safety regulations to ensure the safety of the driver, the cargo, and the public.
- Route packages efficiently to meet delivery deadlines.
- Interact professionally with customers and clients to resolve delivery issues.
- Complete daily logs and vehicle inspection reports.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience in a commercial or delivery vehicle.
- Clean driving record with no serious traffic violations.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Basic knowledge of geography in the Los Angeles area.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
