Responsibilities
- Safely transport goods and materials to designated addresses in the Houston metro area.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing and handling of items to prevent damage.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle at all times.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, company safety protocols, and DOT regulations.
- Communicate clearly with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any delays.
- Complete accurate delivery logs and paperwork daily.
- Assist with inventory management during loading and unloading processes.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) or equivalent state-issued driver’s license.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience.
- Clean driving record with no major violations.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic proficiency with GPS navigation systems and handheld devices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing routes.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
