Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vans to transport goods and materials to designated locations safely and on time.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Load and unload cargo using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and customer signatures.
- Provide excellent customer service during pickups and deliveries.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) preferred but not required for local routes.
- Clean driving record (no DUIs or major violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong knowledge of Jacksonville area streets and traffic patterns.
- Basic computer literacy for logging delivery data.
- Professional communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
