Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles (Box Trucks/Vans) to transport goods to designated locations within San Diego and surrounding areas.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing items to prevent damage.
- Interact professionally and courteously with clients and customers at delivery sites.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, invoices, and mileage records.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, company safety policies, and time management schedules.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record (no DUIs or major violations).
- Minimum of 2 years of professional driving experience in a commercial or heavy-duty vehicle.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly and perform physical labor.
- Strong knowledge of San Diego area streets, freeways, and traffic patterns.
- Basic math skills for inventory management and cash handling.
- Reliable transportation to and from the company facility.
