Responsibilities
- Perform safe and efficient local delivery and route driving within Long Beach and surrounding areas.
- Load and unload cargo using handtrucks, pallet jacks, and dollies safely and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, invoices, and delivery receipts.
- Inspect the vehicle before and after each shift, reporting any mechanical issues immediately.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients and ensure secure handling of parcels.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company safety policies, and DOT regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1 year of driving experience preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong knowledge of the Long Beach, CA, and Southern California geography.
- Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and overtime when needed.
