Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vans and light trucks to transport goods to designated destinations on schedule.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring items are secured properly to prevent damage during transit.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any mechanical issues immediately.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by interacting professionally with clients and handling deliveries accurately.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior and exterior at all times.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or equivalent state driver's license with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of driving experience in a commercial or logistics environment preferred.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull items weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to navigate complex routes using GPS technology.
- Basic computer literacy for electronic logging and documentation.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening.
