Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vans to transport goods to designated locations within the Chicago metro area.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo carefully to prevent damage.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety protocols.
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance while interacting with customers and clients.
- Utilize handheld devices for navigation and electronic logging of deliveries.
- Manage time efficiently to meet daily delivery schedules and targets.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) or equivalent valid driver's license.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of driving experience in a logistics or delivery capacity preferred.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-first mindset.
- Basic computer literacy for logging deliveries and route planning.
