Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vans to deliver freight to designated locations on assigned routes within Oklahoma City.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo carefully, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing items to prevent damage.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the delivery vehicle and report any mechanical issues promptly.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies at all times.
- Update delivery logs and electronic logging devices (ELD) accurately and in a timely manner.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable local driving experience.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to meet strict delivery deadlines.
- Basic knowledge of navigation systems and route planning software.
- Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays if required.
