Responsibilities
- Transport goods and packages safely and efficiently to designated customer locations.
- Load and unload cargo using hand trucks or pallet jacks, ensuring items are secured properly.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the delivery vehicle and perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Follow strict delivery routes and schedules to ensure timely arrivals.
- Interact professionally with clients and customers, providing excellent service.
- Update delivery logs and handle paperwork accurately.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is preferred but not strictly required for experienced drivers.
- Must possess a clean driving record with no major violations in the past 3 years.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of professional driving experience.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic computer literacy for GPS navigation and digital logging.
- Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
