Responsibilities
- Safely operate 15-20ft cargo vans for time-sensitive deliveries
- Plan efficient routes using GPS navigation to meet tight deadlines
- Load/unload merchandise with proper lifting techniques (up to 50 lbs)
- Maintain detailed delivery logs and handle customer interactions
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding route changes
Qualifications
- Valid Texas Class C Driver's License with clean record (3+ years)
- Commercial Driver's License (CDL) preferred but not required
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience
- Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods
- Strong knowledge of Austin metro area geography
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Must be available for flexible hours including weekends
