Responsibilities
- Safely operate 15-20ft cargo vans for local and regional deliveries
- Maintain precise delivery schedules while adhering to traffic regulations
- Load/unload packages with proper lifting techniques and equipment
- Complete delivery manifests and electronic tracking documentation
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Provide exceptional customer service at delivery points
- Navigate efficiently using GPS and route optimization tools
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with clean driving record
- Minimum 1-year commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong knowledge of Chicago metropolitan area
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic computer skills for digital documentation
- Flexible availability including early mornings and weekends
- Commercial driving license (CDL) preferred but not required
