Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for local and regional deliveries
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and San Francisco traffic ordinances
- Efficiently load/unload cargo using proper equipment and techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic records
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip vehicle inspections
- Provide exceptional customer service during client interactions
- Collaborate with dispatch to optimize delivery routes and timelines
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to navigate complex urban environments confidently
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Familiarity with California weight restrictions and bridge laws
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting knowledge
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs repeatedly
