Responsibilities
- Operate commercial motor vehicles (Class A or B) in a safe and timely manner according to DOT regulations.
- Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo securely, adhering to weight distribution and safety guidelines.
- Maintain accurate logs (DVIR) and electronic logging devices (ELD) records.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients, answering questions and resolving issues professionally.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety protocols, and traffic laws.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) (DOT card).
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT Physical).
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Strong commitment to safety and defensive driving practices.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.
- Willingness to undergo training for those with limited driving experience.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
