Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) in a professional and courteous manner.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload freight accurately, adhering to weight limits and securing cargo properly.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and delivery status updates.
- Interact professionally with customers and clients at delivery sites.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
- Keep the truck clean and organized inside and out.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Physical).
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Strong time management skills and ability to work independently.
- Basic computer proficiency for logging and reporting.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
