Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vans to transport packages, documents, and materials within Washington DC metropolitan area
- Maintain precise delivery schedules while optimizing route efficiency
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Verify delivery accuracy and obtain proper documentation from recipients
- Ensure cargo security and compliance with DOT regulations
- Provide exceptional customer service during client interactions
- Maintain clean, organized vehicle interior and exterior
Qualifications
- Valid Class C driver's license with clean MVR (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly during loading/unloading
- Strong knowledge of Washington DC streets and traffic patterns
- Excellent time management and route optimization skills
- Successful completion of background check and drug screening
- Basic GPS navigation proficiency
- Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings/weekends
