Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vans to transport goods across Raleigh and surrounding areas
- Plan efficient routes to meet delivery deadlines while adhering to traffic regulations
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques to prevent damage
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for each shipment
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance checks
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery issues promptly
Qualifications
- Valid North Carolina driver's license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience (van or similar vehicles)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout shifts
- Strong knowledge of Raleigh/Durham area roadways
- Pass background check and mandatory drug screening
- Basic navigation skills with GPS technology
- Reliable transportation to/from workplace
- Flexibility to work early morning shifts (4:30 AM start)
