Responsibilities
- Safely operate 15-20ft box vans for local deliveries within Jacksonville metro area
- Load/unload packages with proper lifting techniques (up to 50 lbs)
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and route documentation
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Assist with inventory management at distribution centers
Qualifications
- Valid Florida Class C driver's license (CDL B preferred)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR (no DUI/DWI in past 5 years)
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Jacksonville area roadways
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Physical ability to lift packages and operate loading equipment
- Basic smartphone proficiency for route navigation
