Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vans and delivery trucks in a safe, courteous, and efficient manner.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring packages are handled with care and secured properly.
- Plan and execute delivery routes to ensure timely arrivals at all destinations.
- Interact professionally with customers, handle inquiries, and resolve delivery issues on-site.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, paperwork, and digital records.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional driving experience preferred.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong knowledge of New York City streets, traffic patterns, and regulations.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
