Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vans to transport goods and materials throughout Charlotte metro area
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for all shipments
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance
- Load/unload cargo efficiently while adhering to handling protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety policies
- Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding route updates or delays
Qualifications
- Valid North Carolina Class C Driver's License (CDL-B preferred)
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Strong knowledge of Charlotte area roadways and traffic patterns
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic GPS navigation proficiency
