Responsibilities
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently, ensuring proper weight distribution.
- Navigate local routes using GPS systems and delivery maps.
- Interact professionally with customers at every delivery location.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols.
- Report any vehicle maintenance issues immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is highly preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of driving experience in a commercial or delivery capacity.
- Clean driving record with no serious traffic violations.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle mechanics is a plus.
