As a Van Driver, you will be the face of our company, ensuring our clients receive their deliveries safely and on time. We value reliability and customer service above all else.
Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely load and unload cargo from delivery vans, ensuring proper handling of goods.
- Customer Delivery: Deliver packages and merchandise to residential and commercial locations in the Oklahoma City metro area.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the van to ensure it is in safe operating condition.
- Documentation: Accurately complete delivery logs, receipts, and paperwork for every stop.
- Communication: Maintain clear and professional communication with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
- Safe Driving: Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company driving policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Driver's License: Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class B or C preferred; Class C with good driving history accepted.
- Experience: Previous experience driving a box truck or van is highly preferred.
- Record: Clean driving record with no major traffic violations in the past 3 years.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift, carry, and move packages weighing up to 75 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible hours, including early mornings and weekends if necessary.
- Tools: Basic knowledge of GPS navigation systems and smartphone usage for logging.
