Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vans to deliver packages and materials to designated locations in the Wichita metro area
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures upon delivery
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance
- Optimize routes to minimize delivery time while adhering to schedules
- Load/unload cargo efficiently with proper handling techniques
- Communicate professionally with clients and dispatch team regarding delivery status
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times
Qualifications
- Valid Class C driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and operate in various weather conditions
- Strong time management skills with attention to detail
- Proficient in using GPS navigation systems and delivery tracking software
- Pass background check and drug screening as required
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Must be at least 21 years of age
