Responsibilities
- Operate company vehicles to transport goods to designated delivery points efficiently and safely.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring items are secured properly to prevent damage.
- Maintain accurate logs of delivery status and hours of service (DOT compliant).
- Provide exceptional customer service by handling deliveries with professionalism.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies regarding safe driving practices.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) or equivalent.
- Valid DOT medical card.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience.
- Pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong knowledge of the Fresno, CA area and local geography.
- Forklift certification is a plus but not required.
