Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vans to transport freight safely and efficiently within the Arlington area.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety standards.
- Load and unload cargo using hand trucks, dollies, and proper lifting techniques.
- Navigate complex routes using GPS and adhere to traffic laws and delivery schedules.
- Interact professionally with customers and clients to ensure high satisfaction levels.
- Maintain a clean and organized cargo area and vehicle interior at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) or equivalent state driver's license.
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing/walking for extended periods.
- Strong time management skills and ability to work independently.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and mechanical issues.
